Encased in a piece of amber, this tiny bird once lived alongside dinosaurs.

The incredible 'game-changing' bird fossil has been discovered trapped in tree sap in Myanmar's Hukawng Valley, a region that is known for its amber deposits.

Dr. Xing Lida, who discovered the fossil, claimed the five-centimetre-long (2.4-inch-long) specimen is the most complete fossilised bird that has been found inside amber from the Cretaceous Period.
