As regular CFZ-watchers will know, for some time Corinna has been doing a column for Animals & Men and a regular segment on On The Track... particularly about out-of-place birds and rare vagrants. There seem to be more and more bird stories from all over the world hitting the news these days so, to make room for them all - and to give them all equal and worthy coverage - she has set up this new blog to cover all things feathery and Fortean.

Have you ever wondered what the life of a crafty seagull was like?

Well, after one of the sneaky birds took it upon itself to steal a Go Pro the secret life of seagulls has been revealed.

Footage recorded on the camera shows its owner intentionally leaving the device out in the hope it would take it on an adventure.

He puts out bread crumbs on his balcony to entice the birds and within minutes three of them are seen flying over for the food.
