There seem to be more and more bird stories from all over the world hitting the news these days so, to make room for them all - and to give them all equal and worthy coverage - she has set up this new blog to cover all things feathery and Fortean.

Black-Bellied Whistling-Ducks Set Record

Whistling duck flight02 - natures pics-edit1.jpgBreaking the previous record of one of the birds seen in 2008, no less than 13 Black-bellied Whistling-Ducks paid a visit to Bermuda on June 7, according to the Bermuda Audubon Society.
A post on social media from the Society said, “Extraordinary record of 13 Black-bellied Whistling-Ducks today on Port Royal GC, Bermuda. There is one previous record of a single bird in 2008.”
