San Diego Audubon is restoring habitat on
in to promote nesting by the California
Least Tern (an endangered bird). We’ll be repairing chick fencing, baling-up
plant piles, and more. This is a great opportunity to get out to an island that
is otherwise off-limits to the public! (The lifeguards will be ferrying us out

Volunteers should wear long pants and sturdy shoes, and sun/rain protection as weather indicates. Work gloves will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own pair if available. We’ll have water, but don't forget to bring a reusable water bottle for refills!
